“T eens turn to drugs for many different reasons. Some cannot deal with the dysfunction in their families. Others are the children of alcoholics or drug addicts. These teens are at an even higher risk of chemical dependency than most people. Finally, some give in to peer pressure to take drugs or drink alcohol. Many of these young people do not have role models or trusted adults they can turn to for advice.
